During the winter months in certain parts of the country songbirds have a difficult time finding food. If you place a well designed birdfeeder within viewing distance from your window, you will be amazed at the variety of songbirds and activity generated in your back yard.
Having a source of fresh water will also insure bird activity in your viewing area as well. Sunflower and Safflower seeds are favorites for the Northern Cardinal.
If anyone has a favorite feeder or birdbath they care to share with us please post.
